Bruneau Dunes State Park is captured by TRUNKS ART!

Bruneau Dunes State Park, Idaho - December 31, 2018 - "Bruneau Dunes" (#2/12) - When you've finally come to a stop from "sledding" down the highest point in Idaho's Bruneau Dunes State Park, you might be surprised to learn that you just conquered the largest structured sand dune in North America at 470 feet.  Pretty cool, huh? Don't answer because there's an even better factoid: Equivalent winds from both the northwest (32% of the time) and southeast (28% of the time) allow this massive dune to retain its shape and not move.  Now you can answer.  "Cool!"

Trunks Art moved to Boise from Los Angeles in 2015 and has made this city his home and art inspiration. To see more of my work, please have a look at more posts or email me at chucktrunks@gmail.com. Or, visit my website at www.trunksart.com.
