TRUNKS ART's art bio, "My Holy Grail" is more of a tribute to others...deservedly so!

Raleigh, North Carolina - October 21, 2021 - Whether you have a talent in art, writing, music, poetry or film, I think most would agree that it's a gift as well as the cross that you bear.  Nobody is asking you to do these things.  Nobody is waiting to see what you'll do next.  Nobody remembers what you did last.  And the internet's promise to expose you to the world ended up with your soul's work being buried amongst the 350 million DAILY uploads on Facebook and 100 million DAILY uploads on Instagram.  Yet, you STILL do it!  Crazy!  When I wrote, "My Holy Grail" in December of 2020, it started out as a self-congratulatory testimony but ended up becoming a more honest picture rife with thank-yous to others.

I hope you'll take the time to read it.  I would love to hear your thoughts!  The story can be accessed from the 'about' page on my website, www.trunksart.com. ðŸ’–💖💖

Trunks Art moved to Raleigh, NC from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2021 and has made this city his home and writing and art inspiration.

TRUNKS ART just loves this new piece! It's called "Rain Rain Go Away" Number 11 (of 12) in my Nature Series!

Raleigh, North Carolina - October 20, 2021 - "Rain Rain Go Away" (#11/12) - Aren't the little birdies and sunflowers cute?  Believe it or not, this allegorical rendering is about ATTITUDE.  The sky above the rain clouds represents what we intrinsically know - that it's peaceful and sunny up there; and that it's good to be alive.  The rain and stormy weather are what life brings us more often than not while the space under the umbrellas can be a world of beauty IF we have the right mindset and attitude. ðŸ’–

A new story from TRUNKS ART about discovering creative brilliance where you'd least expect it! Story of Gratitude #7...

Raleigh, North Carolina - October 12, 2021 - STORIES OF GRATITUDE (#7): People still read, right?  I spent a month writing this 15-page short story to make sure it's entertaining, interesting, and thought provoking.  This is a TRUE STORY about Keith Jordan who, in 2017, not only reminded me, literally and figuratively, not to judge a book by its cover, he showed me that creative brilliance can shockingly spring up from where you'd least expect it.  Ironically, he did this while I was creating the artwork for his ACTUAL book cover!

I hope you'll take the time to read it.  I would love to hear your thoughts!  The story can be accessed from the 'about' page on my website, www.trunksart.com. ðŸ’–💖💖
