Emerald Isle, N.C. — October 17, 2011 — Chuck Trunks' Precision Abstracts continues to skin surfboard after surfboard!

That's right - 3 new boards for you to have a look at. Pictured here are "Snack Shack," a signage board for a commercial surf school, "PQC" and "Skull of Rock." Besides the *POP!* factor, these boards look pretty nice on the wall AND the skins are tough enough to wax up and hit the surf too!

New Surfboards from TRUNKS ART! Check out "PQC" and "Skull of Rock!"

Ventura, CA — October 12, 2011 — Chuck Trunks' Precision Abstracts skins two more boards for some upcoming surf art exhibits!

You're probably thinking that this picture was created in some photoshop lab but that isn't the case at all. I snapped this picture with my trusty pocket Canon this afternoon and uploaded it AS IS. The quality of these skins are truly rich, smooth and *POP* worthy! Pictured here are "PQC" and "Skull of Rock." In the coming weeks, I'll let you know where you can see these boards up close and learn about the history and meaning of the art work too.

"Arcade Pop" is the latest creation in the TRUNKS ART series, "This End Up!"

Camarillo, CA — October 11, 2011 — I can still remember walking the half mile from my house to Pie In The Sky, a small walk-up pizzeria that barely had room for the two arcade games let alone the cramped two-seater for waiting customers. The year was 1975 and the walk was always exciting because the two quarters in my pocket would keep me and my best friend J.J. busy for at least an hour or until the owner of the place would run us out for hogging up PacMan and Space Invaders. Back then, it was all about the pride you’d feel after getting your initials into the top ten list. Today, I’m pretty sure you won’t find a “CJT” on any of today’s machines but you just might find my pop art imagery on your Wii controller or X-Box!

"Arcade Pop" is part of my "This End Up" Series. It's available in various sizes on paper or canvas as limited edition prints (75). Licensing of this image is available as well. To see more of my work, please visit my website at www.chucktrunks.com.

TRUNKS ART skins four more surfboards for some upcoming SURF ART EXIBITS!

Camarillo, CA — October 10, 2011 — Chuck Trunks' Precision Abstracts skins four more boards for some upcoming surf art exhibits!

I have to admit it. I'm really happy with how these boards came out. Pictured here are "To My Surprise," "Toxic Rewind," "Sunset Break" and "Chimp Jackpot." Sometime next week, I'll post some pictures of two new boards featuring a couple of my most popular images: "PQC" and "Skull of Rock." Although I create these boards with the intention of art and signage - believe it or not - these boards can be surfed on as well!

Here's a nice look at 4 recent skins sent to me from good ol' Playagraphics. Pictured here are "Sunset Break," "Chimp Jackpot," "Toxic Rewind" and "To My Surprise." Sometime next week, I'll post some pictures of these same skins on some classic looking surfboards. Seriously, you won't believe how cool these will look.
