"Physics from the Heart: A Quantum Story" connects Trunks Art to consciousness!"

Nampa, Idaho  - November 21, 2023 - An excerpt from Chapter 3: "In his drunken state, the soap monster, er, Ed, would sneak out of his suite, which was across from ours. Then he'd randomly look for an open dorm room. And if all the doors were closed, he'd simply knock in a way that lulled you into believing that all was right in the world. Was it a suitemate? A friend from class? A girl from upstairs? But the unsuspecting, doe-eyed students would quickly realize that all wasn't right with the world as soon as their faces met Ed's wet, soapy chest."

Physics from the Heart: A Quantum Story, is on Amazon Books now.

Physics from the Heart: A Quantum Story solves this dilemma by packaging its sentient message within a narrative that reads less like a textbook and more like a lighthearted screenplay. "It's Not Your Fault: But It Could Be" by Chuck Trunks (TRUNKS ART) continues to get terrific reviews!

Nampa, Idaho  - October 23, 2023 - An excerpt from Chapter 2:

I told her that I was on my way to Raleigh to study biology at North Carolina State University, but left out any mention of my family and what I had just witnessed in the men's room ten minutes earlier. When the bus started heading south on Interstate 95, she closed her book, turned off the overhead light, and looked to be getting some shuteye. For the time being, our conversation was over, leaving me to contemplate what was to come in my new life with only the hum of the bus engine to keep me company. After all, it was the middle of the night. 💓

Back Cover:

Is it just me? Or do other people notice what I'm noticing but aren't saying anything?

If you've seen what I've seen inside and outside mainstream society, then you will love this book because you will have found a like-minded brother in me. If what I'm revealing in It's Not Your Fault: But It Could Be is eye-opening to you, then you will also love this book because it demonstrates that there's more to work than the daily grind, more to happiness than material wealth, and more to relationships than pet-centric lives.

Will live in a duplicitous society where we're surrounded by messaging that tells us to follow our dreams and to be our authentic selves despite being bombarded by a culture that offers a narrow definition of success and only way to get there. This book is based on real-life experiences that will remind you of the freedoms you still have, so you, too, can avoid the false promises of the American Dream.

In my last book Being Happy: The Pursuit of You, I offer a formula for finding the happiness within you. This latest book, It's Not Your Fault: But It Could Be, is about acquiring and maintaining happiness despite living in such a toxic culture.

"Being Happy: The Pursuit of You" could easily have been titled: "Being Not Unhappy: The Pursuit of You." There's a difference.

Nampa, Idaho  - September 26, 2023 - Besides promoting a book that I wrote last year, what is this picture really saying? That I found the Holy Grail of happiness? That I'm the most likable guy in the neighborhood? That I'm so deliriously giddy that I have to pinch myself every few minutes? Please. A yes to any of these questions would not only insult your intelligence, but it would also vaporize whatever credibility I've managed to accumulate over the years. Believe it or not, "Being Happy: The Pursuit of You" is less about 'how to be happy' and more about 'how to not be unhappy.' Big difference. And just like that, I've appealed to your sense of logic and reason, haven't I? Even if perpetual happiness were feasible, it sounds exhausting to me. But on the other hand, I do know it's truly possible to live a calm, simple, and purposeful life while not being unhappy. 💓

Back Cover:

Who do I think I am? What gives me the right? I'm no Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, or Viktor Frankl, yet I've written a book about finding happiness by controlling emotions, investing in the current moment, and having a meaningful purpose. The nerve!

More than 100 billion human beings have lived and died on this planet, and I'm guessing that every one of them wanted to be happy. I'm also guessing that very few of them wrote books about being happy. What's unique about my book is that I will take you on an open and honest journey using real events from my life that will entertain you, make you feel, relate, and think while being shown exactly how I came to discover and harness the happiness and fulfillment that was hiding inside me all these years.

I offer my humble story with the hope that it'll help you find yours, too. 💓

"Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts" is a book with a different perspective - a book more about dog ownership than dogs.

Nampa, Idaho  - September 13, 2023 - Most people, if not every single person reading this, have experienced periods where a gut-wrenching emotional void is all that remains after heartbreak. If left unattended, this void will soon become the equivalent of an exploded supernova--a black hole--swallowing everything it can in hopes of alleviating the vast emptiness within its depths. Sometimes, the void is filled with healthy alternatives that promote personal growth, turning the ashes of an old life into a life only dreamed of. Often times, the void is filled with the wrong choices, resulting in behaviors and addictions that only mask the real issues. This was my mindset when I wrote "Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts." 💖

Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts, is on Amazon Books now.

Back Cover:

Even if you've been going through life half asleep for the last ten years, I'm still confident that you've noticed an undeniable surge in the number of people with dogs. Have you ever wondered why that is?

After conducting over ten years of field research for this book, amassing 30,000 bike-miles and 10,000 foot-miles while doing so and interviewing hundreds of dog owners who trusted me with their personal stories, I developed a theory that attempts to answer the question, "How did America become so obsessed with dogs?"

The sometimes funny, sometimes frightening, and always entertaining observational and experiential stories in the first two parts of the book stem from actual events and support the explanations behind a theory that takes into account the external and internal pressures that make it remarkably easy for dog owners to exclaim, "Must Love Dogs!"

TRUNKS ART'S first book, "Heart Appreciation: Stories of Gratitude" is a reminder that gratitude is above pride.

Nampa, Idaho  - August 15, 2023 - I think it's a healthy practice to take pride in one's accomplishments. Otherwise, it would be pretty difficult to create and maintain a sense of self-worth. But taking self-praise to the levels I've seen on social media--especially over the past five or so years--can project a less than humble persona. It might even rub people the wrong way. If building self-esteem is like climbing a ladder, then gratitude is a rung above pride. I was inspired to write "Heart Appreciation: Stories of Gratitude" by the people who helped me become the person I am today. Without them, I certainly wouldn't have anything to brag about. 💖

Back Cover:

I found out early in life that good people bring you happiness while not-so-good people teach you lessons, but this book focuses on the great ones who give you lasting memories.

In this collection of personal and lyrical short stories, you will learn how a nine-year-old girl, a pro football legend, a Fortune 500 CEO, a feisty old man, a country boy, a Puerto Rican logistics manager, a new hire from Santa Barbara, a college buddy, and a high school gym teacher taught me about dignity, compassion, loyalty, charisma, humility, selflessness, and so much more.

These non-fiction reflections combine elements of humor, poetry, essay, and memoir and serve as reminders that we are truly a result of what we learn from others. I extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude to everyone mentioned in this book as well as to those who will be honored in subsequent compilations. 💖💖💖

TRUNKS ART: "Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts."

Nampa, Idaho  - June 26, 2023 - I believe most people would agree that our nation is in the midst of a loneliness crisis. I've come to the realization that many of our choices, which may seem like solutions to this soul-crushing epidemic, are actually symptoms of it. 💖

TRUNKS ART says, "Books over memes!" (memes don't teach...books teach!)

Nampa, Idaho  - June 1, 2023 - In my hand, I'm holding a book--not a meme. Inside are the innermost thoughts of the author, something memes, sound bites, and video clips could never reveal. Are you happy? Does my formula for happiness resonate with you? 💓

"It's Not Your Fault: But It Could Be" by Chuck Trunks (TRUNKS ART)

Nampa, Idaho  - May 1, 2023 - So here we sit, no longer able to delude ourselves into thinking that the game isn't rigged and that corporate America and big government aren't holding all the cards. As bleak as that sounds, I still believe success, happiness, and fulfillment can be won at that high-stakes table--you just need to stop playing by their rules. 💓

"Heart Appreciation" by Chuck Trunks (Trunks Art)

"Being Happy: The Pursuit of You" by Chuck Trunks (TRUNKS ART)

Nampa, Idaho  - March 17, 2023 - Whatever it is you're doing with your life, are you able to distinguish it as having a meaningful purpose? Or is it a passionate endeavor? Maybe it's an escape from whatever it is that's hurting you. I cover this quandary in Part 3 of "Being Happy: The Pursuit of You." It took decades to learn the differences and six months to write. TRUNKS ART isn't pandering (really, I'm not)...

Nampa, Idaho  - March 4, 2023 - I pretty much bash Facebook as one of Earth's worst scourges in most of my books, yet here I am. But in my defense, I'm not posting pictures of exotic vacations or meals that are out of the price range of 99% of Americans. I'm offering my best gift, my best contribution, to you. I'm a good writer with a great message, but I'm horrible at marketing because I can't shrug off the feeling that I'm pandering and groveling. However, I'm willing to do it for this book. I can only hope you'll take the time to read it and give me your thoughts about it. 💓

TRUNKS ART: "It's a labor of love!"

Nampa, Idaho  - January 20, 2023 - What can I say? It's a labor of love for sure. In my last book, "Being Happy: The Pursuit of You," I talk about finding the happiness inside of you. In my next book, "It's Not Your Fault: But It Could Be," I talk about how to be happy despite living in a culture that literally works against that happiness (due out in early February). I hope the start of your new year is all that you hoped it would be. I'm really proud of these books and hope you'll enjoy them. 💓
