"Why Time?" is the latest from TRUNKS ART!

Boise, Idaho - May 4, 2020 - "Why Time? (#8/12) - So you're a 20-something year old college grad sitting in a cubicle at your first job daydreaming about what? The opposite sex? Outdoor adventure?  Weekend shenanigans?  Well, if you're Albert Einstein, you'd be watching the clock and thinking how slow it's going - but not in the same way slackers like you and me would.  Instead, he was quietly redefining the prevailing, classic, centuries old Newtonian belief of what time is!  But why would a young Einstein EVEN be thinking about the abstraction of time and NOT the upcoming kegger at his buddy, Frederick's place?  Just as he settled into his clerk position in the patent office in Bern, Switzerland, the world was experiencing, for the first time, mass transit; and along with it, major problems with train schedules.  Thanks to the steam engine, trains were making it possible for people to travel all over Europe and North America - but there was a problem - every town had its own time!  So there's young Einstein, pouring over patent submissions - each one depicting clock synchronization ideas - and thinking to himself, "I just invented the irrefutable concept of space-time but will the girls dig it at Fredericks'?"

Trunks Art moved to Boise from Los Angeles in 2015 and has made this city his home and art inspiration.
