Excellent Review of "Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts" on Amazon!

Nampa, Idaho  - July 14, 2022 - I'd like to share this wonderful review I received on Amazon in regards to my latest book, Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts. She totally gets my theory and the intention behind it:

"Trunks is a talented storyteller who has produced an insightful commentary on an obscure, yet gripping subject. It is both entertaining and heartbreaking. What once was simply the family pet is now being elevated to a status with clout that is seemingly more important than basic manners, a regard for others, and most importantly, human connection. What happened to us? Throughout the book, I caught myself shaking my head and exclaiming, "Wow, he's not wrong," and now I can see the tragedy clearly, too. I'm grateful the author included a phenomenon I've personally witnessed; the pressure (from well-meaning friends and family) to fill the void of relationship with a quick and easy "fix" of a puppy. It's so tempting! And I'm so glad this book came across my nightstand and opened my eyes when it did. I want everyone to read it. It is such a great reminder to put people first, always." -Stefanie

Even if you've been going through life half asleep for the last ten years, I'm still confident that you've noticed an undeniable surge in the number of people with dogs. Have you ever wondered why that is?

After conducting over ten years of field research for this book, amassing 30,000 bike-miles and 10,000 foot-miles while doing so and interviewing hundreds of dog-owning women who trusted me with their personal stories, I developed a theory that attempts to answer the question, "How did America become so obsessed with dogs?"

The sometimes funny, sometimes frightening, and always entertaining observational and experiential stories in the first two parts of the book stem from actual real events and support the explanations behind a theory that takes into account the external and internal pressures that make it remarkably easy for dog owners to exclaim, "Must Love Dogs!" 💖💖💖
