Max was curious about everything; he was always following Martha around, checking on my whereabouts from time to time, and making frequent use of the two doggie doors on either side of the cozy house. And, like most dogs, Max liked being wherever Martha and I were in the house—especially in the living room, where he would situate himself between us or on top of Martha. That's when I first discovered that Max's penis hangs out from its sheath." 💖

Columbia, South Carolina  - September 12, 2024 - An excerpt from Chapter 4: "Just as the guy pulled the leash to restrain his dog, I launched off the sidewalk at a 45-degree angle toward the street. Despite atrophied legs from a month of bed and couch life from the virus, I cleared the snow pile; however, the landing was a different story. Either the ground was uneven underneath the snow or the snow had frozen haphazardly. My legs went out from underneath me, and I landed on my back in what had to look like the biggest soccer pitch flop ever attempted. With two huge German Shepherds barking wildly at me, I could barely think while I rolled over to get on my knees so I could stand up. Shockingly, the couple had stopped to gawk while restraining their menacing dogs without so much as a, "Oh my god! Are you all right? We're so sorry for scaring you like that!" 💖

Nampa, Idaho  - September 13, 2023 - Most people, if not every single person reading this, have experienced periods where a gut-wrenching emotional void is all that remains after heartbreak. If left unattended, this void will soon become the equivalent of an exploded supernova--a black hole--swallowing everything it can in hopes of alleviating the vast emptiness within its depths. Sometimes, the void is filled with healthy alternatives that promote personal growth, turning the ashes of an old life into a life only dreamed of. Often times, the void is filled with the wrong choices, resulting in behaviors and addictions that only mask the real issues. This was my mindset when I wrote "Must Love Dogs: A Tragedy of Sorts." 💖

Even TRUNKS ART receives unjustified criticism from time to time.

 

Nampa, Idaho  - September 29, 2022 - If you write a book on polarizing subjects like Donald Trump, abortion rights, vaccine effectiveness, the right to bear arms, the existence of God, or the phenomenon of dog-centric lifestyles, be prepared to receive crazy stuff like this latest "review" on Amazon. And be prepared for mostly one and five star reviews since that's the typical footprint of polarizing content.

By the way, there is absolutely no mention of ambushing or killing dogs. I don't carry a 'kit' on my bike, and have never injured an animal in my life despite having been bitten more than a dozen times. I welcome all reviews (good or bad) but it must be constructive and based on what's actually written - not something that's made up to make me look like a terrible person. That's just mean and takes the dialogue nowhere.
